Detailed 10-Day Morocco Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca Arrival and Drive to Chefchaouen
Your private driver will meet you at Casablanca Airport or your hotel to begin your journey. The first leg takes you north to the Rif Mountains. After a 7-hour scenic drive with scheduled rest stops, you will arrive in the famous “Blue City” of Chefchaouen for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Exploring Chefchaouen and Transfer to Fes
Spend your morning exploring the blue-washed streets at your leisure. Key highlights include the Uta El-hammam Square, the Great Mosque with its unique octagonal tower, and the historic Kasbah. In the afternoon, we continue the tour toward the spiritual capital, Fes.
Day 3: Full-Day Guided Tour of the Fes Medina
At 9:00 AM, meet your local guide for a deep dive into the Fes Medina, one of the world’s largest walled cities. Navigate the labyrinth of souks, visit the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts, and witness ancient tanneries. The guided tour concludes at 5:00 PM.
Day 4: Fes to the Merzouga Sahara via Ifrane and Midelt
A 7:00 AM departure marks the start of your desert adventure. Stop in Ifrane (known as “Moroccan Switzerland”) and continue to Midelt for an authentic Berber lunch. After a stop at the Ziz Valley palm groves, arrive in Merzouga to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunset.
Day 5: Sahara Desert Discovery and Camel Trek
Explore the desert dunes in a 4×4 vehicle. Visit the Rissani Souk and the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, then enjoy a traditional Medfouna (Berber Pizza) for lunch. In the late afternoon, trek by camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert camp for a night under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga to Dades Gorges via Todra Gorges
After breakfast in the dunes, travel toward Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Walk through the massive limestone canyons and lush palm groves before arriving in Boumalne Dades for the evening.
Day 7: Dades Gorges to Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech
Cross the High Atlas Mountains today. Visit a certified Argan oil cooperative to learn about local production before taking a 2-hour guided tour of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a famous UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for many Hollywood epics.
Day 8: Full-Day Marrakech City Tour
Discover the “Red City” with a visit to the stunning Majorelle Garden. Explore the historic architecture of the Medina, wander through vibrant markets, and conclude your day at the world-famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
Day 9: Marrakech to Casablanca Transfer
